What's This Prayer Really About?

I get quite a few comments about this prayer emphases, many questioning whether or not we ought to be praying about the election.

My first response always is "read our materials closely." When you do, you will see that this really is much more about the condition of the Church than about the election. The election is the occasion of this massive call to prayer, but the focus ultimately is about the Lord's desire for His people to be on their faces before Him in repentance and prayer. We're crying out for another Great Awakening in our nation. That's the only hope for America! It's much more about who is in your house, than who is in the White House.

I have been desperate to see how we can stir the American church to pray earnestly for this election, and specifically, for our country, both politically and morally, when I was introduced to your website. I am so thankful to know that so many others across America are desperate for God to bless America again---to give us another chance, to restore our country, and His Church, according to His plan. Thank you for following God's message on your heart to begin this special ministry of prayer.
